A chance to explore fascinating region can be arranged by Trailfinders Africa during any season of the year.

The adventure begins with dawn travel in a patch work of forests, villages and farmland until the hills surrounding Lake Victoria signal your arrival.

Delicious meals will be waiting for you on the Islands-: [ Mfangano, Rusinga or Takawiri] and then the day is yours to fish, bird- watching, swimming or simply explore the natural beauty of the Island and their shores. Lake Victoria is a fisherman’s paradise. Nile perch abound and the record catch for Lake Victoria weighed over 700 pounds.
