MOUNT MERU CLIMBING 5 DAYS

DAY 1 NAIROBI-ARUSHA
Leave Nairobi by shuttle Bus to Arusha.

Day 2ARUSHA-MOMELLA-MARIAKAMAMBA HUT
Drive to Momella Park gate in the morning. Trek 3-4 hrs to Miriakamamba hut picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight

Day 3 MARIAKAMAMBA-SADDLE HUT
After breakfast climb the steep end to second hut called Saddle (3 hrs) Spend the afternoon to attempt climbing little Meru peak and back.
Dinner and overnight at Saddle hut.

Day 4 SADDLE HUT-PEAK-SADDLE HUT
Take a cup of tea at 12:00am then start an attempt to climb the big Meru peak. Trek to summit via rocky path and back to Saddle hut. Rest for the final day Lunch, dinner and overnight at Saddle hut.

Day 5 SADDLE HUT-ARUSHA
Leave Saddle hut and descend down to Momella gate via first hut (Miriakamba) where you will be transferred to Arusha then to Nairobi arriving late evening.

The price is inclusive of:-
2 transfers from Moshi/Arusha to Mount Meru park gate -return
3 meals per day while trekking - Vegetarian/Non-Vegetarian
4 days Mount Meru trek
3 nights accommodation in huts while trekking Mount Meru
First and Last night accommodation at Standard hotels - Bed and Breakfast.
All park entrance fees and government levies
English speaking mountain Guide and assistant guides
Porters- a maximum of 2 per client
The Price does not include: -Gloves, Sun glasses, Sleeping bag, Hats , Rain suits, Warm Jacket, climbing boots, Scarf's, Rain Trousers, tents (can be hired at a reasonable price from our office)
